Elias squinted at the horizon, his freckled nose wrinkling against the salt spray. He dreamt of adventure, not the monotonous routine of mending sails and swabbing decks aboard the merchant vessel, 'Sea Serpent'. Elias yearned for the thrill of a chase, the clang of cutlasses, the salty tang of victory – in short, he dreamed of becoming a Corsair.

He’d heard whispers on the docks, tales of Captain Zara, the legendary Corsair Queen who commanded the fearsome ship, 'The Siren's Whisper'. Rumours painted her as a fierce warrior with emerald eyes that held the storm and hair like spun gold that whipped in the wind as she led her crew through daring raids. Elias craved to be part of her world.

One stormy afternoon, opportunity knocked, disguised as a rogue wave. A monstrous swell crashed against 'Sea Serpent', sending crates tumbling and men scrambling for safety. In the chaos, Elias spotted a small, battered boat being tossed mercilessly by the waves. He recognized the crimson sails – it was 'The Siren's Whisper'.

Heart pounding, Elias grabbed a rope and flung himself overboard. Battling against the raging sea, he reached the Corsair vessel just as it was about to capsize. Clinging desperately to the railing, he hauled himself aboard, soaked to the bone but exhilarated.
